Teresa Herd has held top creative positions on the agency side but she really hit on something when she moved to the brand side with Staples in the Boston area and later on the West Coast with Intel. There she won tons of awards and accolades (Ad Age’s Creativity 50, Ad Age In-house Agency of the year, Emmy Nominated, Campaign US Digital 40 over 40, Multiple Gold, Silver, and Bronze Lions, Clios, One Show awards, Woman of Impact and Chief Creative Director for the largest single-day protest, Women’s March identity & PSAs.) and made all the other internal creative organizations in the world jealous. Today, as CEO of More, she works with brands of all sizes to ensure they have the right mix of people internally and are well-matched with outside creative firms. In this episode, we talk about agency/internal cross-pollination (pollenization?), what works, what doesn’t, and some of the coming trends in the creative space on both sides of the agency/brand divide.
